Year 6 students were asked why they had chosen to come to Flint High School. Here are some of their answers:
Bethany, Year 6 ‘my brother comes to Flint High School and he’s getting a good education so I’m looking forward to coming too in September’
Lee, Year 6 ‘for 40 years everyone in my family has gone to another school, I am the first one to choose to come to Flint High’
Chloe, Year 6 ‘my cousins came to Flint High and they said the teachers are really good. Also, it’s close to where I live and my friends are coming here’
Will, Year 6 ‘other people from my family have come here and they really like it. I didn’t look at anywhere else’
Jack, Year 6 ‘I did look at another school but chose Flint High. I think I will get a good education here’
Elinor, Year 6 ‘I’ve got friends who come to Flint High and they say it’s really good so that’s what made me choose to come here too’
Abigail, Year 6 ‘I’m looking forward to doing Drama at Flint High and my neighbour is in the sixth form here and she says it’s a really great school’
Nadine, Year 6 ‘I already know some of the teachers at Flint High because they’ve come to my school (Cornist Park) to talk to us and my friends are going to Flint High’
