Favourite song? C: I can’t answer that. Every disc is linked to moments in my life and that of lots of other people. N: So many! But I can tell you that there is one that always has a weird appeal: Epmd- The Joint. How do you imagine yourself in 10 years’ time? C: With a kid and a person who supports me and puts up with me. N: With long white hair and a long white beard, not living in Italy, someone really cool. How did your relationship with White’s come about? C: From my insight to call Nico up and present him with an idea. He agreed immediately. N: I helped Gabriele find a saxophone player for the launch. From then he fell completely in love with me.
Gabriele or Marianna - who do you prefer between the two? Why? C: Mariana - my next girlfriend. Also, because Gabriele is ugly like me (but I like him). N: Obviously Marianna, because she’s much better looking than Gabriele. What is it that you like the best about Aperiwhite? C: The magic, the sunset, the evening, the people...really everything. N: Watching the sun set behind the palm trees from the decks, hearing people shouting AT the moment I push the play button, seeing people enjoy the live artists that I’ve chosen for White’s. What is your signature song? C: Every year I try to throw in catchphrases. Last year, almost as a dare, I played Itallove. It turned out that people thought that I had written it and they were calling me with “è tutto blu mi piaci di più” (everything’s blue I like it more). For 2018 I’ll pop out another one :) N: Maybe Body by the Funky Green Dogs or Linda by Martin Solveig. Do you often play together? When did you enjoy yourself the most? Is there one night that you particularly remember? C: There have been so many. It’s impossible to say. N: Good question. We really have done so many, however, I do remember two evenings. The last ferragosto (August Bank Holiday) at White’s, one feast of Epiphany (6th January), and most recently, one date in La Lampara at the end of 2017. Who’s better looking? C: Nico N: Gabriele Who’s better behaved? C: Me N: Ciccio And who is nicer? C: Me N: Ciccio What score would you give as a friend? C: I love him. 10 if he were less touchy. N: 7. Single or in a relationship? C: Single. N: Going through athletic preparation.
How do you attract a girl? C: I consider myself to be a gentleman, but also a determined man. N: I don’t know how to attract, or rather, I love attracting a woman when she’s already mine. Firstly, I leave a lot to fate without putting in much myself. What is your ideal holiday? C: Backpack on, walking the roads of the world. I travel a lot that way N: A mix of exploration, art/ music studios, sea and relaxation. Which artist would you like to play with at White’s? C: Nico Rinaldi And Black Coffee who I’m playing with in May in Bari. A legend. N: Above all Andrea Oliva, the actual resident of the Party Ants at Ushuaia in Ibiza. Besides you both being there, why do people like Sundays at White’s so much? C: Because there is synergy between the music, venue, services, drinks, etc. N: Because Gabriele is there. In addition to this, I believe it’s because people feel free to go bare foot, without makeup or labels. Because we offer good music which makes almost everyone feel good. Favourite drink? C: Ask Gigi and Andrea. N: G&T Do you use social media? C: Yes, too much. N: Yes, mostly in the past 7-8 years. How many followers do you have? C: Through all the channels 10K. N: Around 13,000 between Facebook and Instagram. Do you have anything to say to our friends at White’s? C: È tutto blu (everything’s blue) ... but that’s enough now!!!
