The command-line interface

hile you can manage most of the software on a Raspberry Pi through the desktop, some can only be accessed using a text-based mode known as the command-line interface (CLI) in an application called Terminal. Most users will never need to use

the CLI, but for those who want to learn more, this appendix offers a basic introduction.
