Talking Books

This free service supports individuals who are blind, visually impaired or have a physical or reading disability. Eligible users receive a digital book player and access to downloadable audiobooks through BARD. All materials ship free of charge and can be kept as long as needed.

To apply, complete a certified application or call 561-649-5486 to request a form by mail.

Books-By-Mail

Residents who are homebound due to age, disability or lack of transportation can receive books, DVDs and more by mail, at no cost. Materials are loaned for 28 days and include prepaid return shipping. Library staff can help select items tailored to your interests. Apply by calling 561-649-5482 or mailing a completed form to: Palm Beach County Library System, c/o Books-By-Mail, 4289 Cherry Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
