Why replace missing teeth? Missing teeth can and should be replaced. This is because each and every gap in your tooth placement potentially poses problems to your long-term dental health. In fact, even one missing tooth can ultimately lead to the loss of additional teeth as well as changes in your facial appearance.

Traditionally, some restorative dental procedures required many steps. Creating dentures was time consuming and many adjustments were often necessary. Some patients experience discomfort from dentures and often find them very unstable. Fortunately, now many of these patients will benefit from new technologies available today.

3

What is a dental implant? Dental implants are artificial roots that serve as a replacement for a single missing tooth or replace all missing teeth. Research indicates that dental implants’ biocompatible surfaces actually stimulate the required fusion with the bone and can subsequently serve as anchors for the replacement teeth. Dental implants have developed into a structured, well defined and researched procedure. With dental implants function can be restored, aesthetics enhanced and everyday normal life can be a reality. This means you can eat and drink with renewed confidence.

Traditionally, dental implant treatment is performed over a number of sessions
