Building great smiles for the future

Advanced Oral Reconstruction

Restore quality of life Attractive, natural-looking teeth help us look and feel our best. They let us enjoy foods we love. And they allow us to be naturally confident where it really counts - at home, on the job, on the playing field, but especially, on the inside. Today modern dental restorations help many people improve their lives. We invite you to learn more about the options available to you, and how to make that first big step toward regaining a natural, self-assured smile.

Why replace missing teeth? Missing teeth can and should be replaced. This is because each and every gap in your tooth placement potentially poses problems to your long-term dental health. In fact, even one missing tooth can ultimately lead to the loss of additional teeth as well as changes in your facial appearance.

Traditionally, some restorative dental procedures required many steps. Creating dentures was time consuming and many adjustments were often necessary. Some patients experience discomfort from dentures and often find them very unstable. Fortunately, now many of these patients will benefit from new technologies available today.

What is a dental implant? Dental implants are artificial roots that serve as a replacement for a single missing tooth or replace all missing teeth. Research indicates that dental implants’ biocompatible surfaces actually stimulate the required fusion with the bone and can subsequently serve as anchors for the replacement teeth. Dental implants have developed into a structured, well defined and researched procedure. With dental implants function can be restored, aesthetics enhanced and everyday normal life can be a reality. This means you can eat and drink with renewed confidence.

Immediate teeth In ideal cases, implants can be placed in as little as one session. Your treatment plan will, however, be dependent on your clinical situation.

with extended healing times. In some cases treatment may take 8-12 months. Today, modern implant design and state of the art surgical techniques allows many patients to benefit from immediate implants and have individually designed fixed teeth within a few days of surgery.

Traditionally, dental implant treatment is performed over a number of sessions

Introducing All-on-4™ All-on-4™ is a cost effective, advanced technique whereby a whole arch of teeth is supported by only 4 implants. This revolutionary treatment concept can be used in either the upper or lower jaw to support immediate fixed teeth that look, feel and function similar to natural teeth in as little as 1-3 days in many cases. Full arch of teeth replaced with 4 implants Reduced need for bone grafting Suitable for people who have lost all of their teeth or about to lose them Fewer implants allows for simpler cleaning Optimal aesthetic results Suitable for treatment of both lower and upper jaws

Aesthetic gum replacement For enhanced aesthetics there needs to be harmony between the teeth, gums and lips. To help achieve harmony the All-on-4™ implant site is prepared and reshaped creating the required space for optimal design and positioning of final teeth. 8

The reshaping of the gum at the time of implant placement allows for a more natural aesthetic result, making the restoration easier to clean and enables aesthetic gum replacement.

Individual treatment plans

The first step is an oral examination to discuss treatment options and to determine the best solution to suit your individual need.

Radiographs are taken to determine final position of the implants. Pretreatment photographs and cast models are also prepared.

Diagnostic data is used to plan the optimal position of the final teeth for aesthetics, function and speech. A special surgical guide is also prepared at this stage.
