SON-RAY ARTIST BIOGRAPHGY “ENLIGHTENED” – Son-Ray (2010) Son-Ray, born Raymond Reyes, is a young aspiring talent and a creative Hip-Hop artist from Bedstuy, Brooklyn, NY.Son-Ray is an individual that loves to create music and continues to establish himself as an artist looking to achieve individuality in a genre where cookie cutter artists are made everyday. Being the youngest of four siblings and growing up in a Marcy Housing apartment Son-Ray was surrounded by music from an early age. Brooklyn in the 90’s was an exciting and glorious time in HipHop. Artists such as The Notorious B.I.G, Jay-Z, and others brought a new found glamour to a neighborhood and borough that has been troubled with the harsh realities of growing up in the hood. Fueling the need for self-expression came easy for the young Son-Ray. At the age of 14 Son-Ray began his artistic career when he first inked his first rhyme. Being the youngest of three brothers lead to influencing Son-Ray to get more involved and join the family group that consisted of his brothers and two cousins which were the in-house music producers which supplied the vehicle to carry their words from paper to the ears of many who appreciated their style of Hip-Hop. Living in the projects, Son-Ray unfortunately couldn’t escape the harsh realities of a life that the struggle tends to bring. Although not proud, Son-Ray confesses being involved in illegal drug dealings
Artistic, Deep Thinking, Easy Going, Observant, Real, and Ready!!! as well as other behaviors that are easily exposed to a young man in the hood. Despite the negative influences in Son-Ray’s life he began to realize that he was an entrepreneur and that having a business mentality helped him make a life changing decision to pursue music full time with his brothers and cousins. While in the family group he was able to get a taste for touring while booking gigs in other states. The energy he felt on stage made it clear for Son-Ray that performing on stage and expressing himself artistically and wholeheartedly was the passion he was looking for. Son-Ray acknowledges his passion to one occasion at a performance in Myrtle Beach S.C when he signed his first autograph for a fan that had heard the group for the first time at that event. He said “the experience was amazing and I knew right there that this (music) is what I wanted to do with my life”. In 2010 Son-Ray broke away from the group as it began to dissolve. Although the group broke apart Son-Ray’s desire and passion continued to grow and burn inside with the

desire to shed some light on his life and tell his story. Later that year, “Enlightened” was recorded which is a semi-biographical album telling stories of pain, striving to be the best and telling the world that “I Will Never Lose!” From that point on there was no looking back. He began his mission to scout for a manager. He knew that a strong support system would help him to achieve higher grounds and gain traction in a market that is saturated with artists also trying to get their voices heard. In October of 2010 he would search no further as he found a person he believed fit the bill and who in returned humbly accepted. Son-Ray’s drive, determination and knowledge of the music industry will lead to the road of success to have his poetic words heard. In 2011 Son-Ray co-founded an entertainment company named Get It Done Entertainment with his manager.

We're more than just a group, this is a family. We grew up together since middle out in Murietta CA.Music came into the picture when we started making songs for our high school basketball team to warm up to. Veze Skante
“Die Famous” Who's is Veze Skante? How would you like to present yourself, to the people that still don’t know who you are? Veze Skante is allot of things son, brother, father, artist but most importantly I feel I am a narrator of my generation and create the type of records that are a perfect backdrop to the trials and tribulations that today's youth goes through on a day to day. I feel, I bleed , I cry, I laugh and my music reflects all those emotions in a different yet relate-able way. I hope the people that are just starting to now me and my music look at me as an artist and not pigeon hold me to just one thing I feel because I'm Mexican and from L.A people already have a prejudgment about me,until they
here my music,which is fine but i want my music to speak for itself. How do you describe your self in one word? Myself in one word I just had to ask, are you Italian? If not where you from? lol !! Nah I ain’t Italian I'm Mexican and my culture is always a big part of my music. I'm from the city of Reseda! 818 in the building!!

How did you get your nickname? My name actually comes from an Italian mobster I used to go by the name Genoveze ,after the boss of the Genoveze family, and people used to call me Veze for short and if you from the hood

you know what skante means!! and one day I actually said it in a song and all my people loved it! It just sounded different almost like a superhero!!lol and it just stuck!

OTM:How long have you been in the music industry? VS:I’ve been rapping since I was 14 and got involved in the industry about 10 years ago its been a long hard road but its taught me allot and I've met some great talented people as well!!In the end its what I love to do! OTM:Tell me about your new song . Do you think this is going to be a mayor hit in your career? VS:Die famous is a track I did with my brotha Scoop De Ville and we just came home one night from the club and I wanted to create the soundtrack to our night and I did! but die famous is just a metaphor to go hard and live for today and has become an anthem in Hollywood clubs and it feels amazing to have the support of all the DJs I look up to and respect! Do you write your own song’s? Yes I write all my own songs Are you working on any other projects besides music? :At the moment I'm working on several different music projects I have my own company called Capo Regime and have two local artists Panama Red and Valley Droop and am working on their projects, a compilation ,my album and several mix tapes and touring all across California promoting the single Die Famous and are about to lay several re mixes!!we get it in over here my team don't sleep! What can we expect from Veze Skante the rest of the year? The rest of the year will be busy finishing up all my projects and hopefully going into acting I also work with my brotha Jessy Tererro who is a re-noun video director,mentor,and personal friend and we will be beginning several projects!So we will be grinding all of 2011 until everyone knows the name and the music!! Sano Dinkha ( born 1988, April 28 in Iraq ) better know by his stage name "HERBS" IS Assyrian-Canadian musician. He is a Singer, Songwriter and Producer since 1999. Capo Regimes artist , Valley Droop, was born Jude Fernando in Jan 21 1988. With rhythm pulsing through his veins. Growing up in the infamous city of Reseda, the 23 year-old artist/songwriter behind the nation wide radio found his passion when he single was just a little boy. “When I was 4 my mom and dad gave me a walk man,” recalls Droop. “It was a little Play School set and I ended up playing every tape i could get my hands on". That’s when it hit them and me that I was really into music. At a very young age I really fell in love with melody's and music and would hum and sing tunes every were i would go .” Droop got his nick name from Family and friends because of his droopy eyes and his lazy speech that gives him his own unique style. He soon got picked up by Tito who played as his mentor, manager,and big brother under Capo Regime records along side with Veze Skante who had a few singles with Universal/Machete records and currently responsible for the nation wide smash single DIE FAMOUS also involved was the Director of Soul Plane and countless music videos for MTV,VH1 and BET Jessy Terrero .With in the first month the streets were on fire, people were printing Capo Regime shirts Droop had two smash single videos he did free for the fans(Man Round Here, Bad Guy) he had a cameo in the T.I feat Mary J Blidge video(Remember Me) his single space ship is getting radio plays nation wide its clear for all to see. Valley Droop and Capo Regime is officially in the building. At the current time Valley Droop is touring nation wide with Veze Skante and is also working on his Album under LAW HOUSE /UNIVERSAL/LRT with well know west coast producer LayLaw. OTM: What are you currently promoting at the
moment? VD: I am currently promoting my mix tape After the show Vol.1 and my boy Veze Skante's song by summer my single hits the radio so I’m touring with Skante till then. OTM: How is it that you meet Veze Skante? VD:Me and Veze represent the same city we were raised in which is Reseda CA.i was working the underground scene doing shows and selling CD's and Veze had all ready made a pretty big name for him self. I was introduced to Veze by one of our boys who is currently incarcerated Free TITO who played as a mentor and big brother to me.. They got both of us on the same label. Which is and its been a take over ever since OTM: What has been your most rewording moment, since you’ve been in the music industry? VD:There has been plenty of rewarding moments but my most memorable was probably hearing my song Space Ship play on the radio for the first time, and watching every body that was in the car with me flip out. OTM:What make’s Valley Droop, so unique? VD: There's 2 things I really think that makes me and my team unique. For one our attitude and the way our attitude represents us through are music. I don’t fake or front ..i am me and u can love me or leave me alone and two we work alll day all night ..we grind hard because in the music industry the way you lose is sleeping
