Welcome

To our Southeastern Conference family and friends, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! On behalf of my fellow administrators, Pierre Francois and Emmanuel Charles, I welcome you to Camp Meeting 2023 - our first full in-person camp meeting since 2019. Praise the Lord!

The theme for this camp meeting, Grateful Hearts, Renewed Hope, is a call to celebrate and praise God for His unwavering faithfulness in the midst of difficult and challenging times. It acknowledges the difficult and unprecedented events of the last four years (including the pandemic, social injustice, economic crisis, and political polarization), while also emphasizing the hope and renewed strength that comes from trusting in God’s goodness.

We have diligently planned a spirit-filled yet diverse program that includes worship services, seminars, and various recreational activities that cater to all age groups. Each of these services, seminars, and activities have been designed to bring us closer to God and to one another. I encourage you to avail yourself of this unique opportunity to deepen your relationship with our Savior.

It is my prayer that this year’s camp meeting will provide us the opportunity to reflect on and give thanks for the ways in which God has sustained and provided for us through the storms of the past few years. And also, a time to find hope and renewal in God’s promises, especially the promise of the “Blessed Hope - the glorious return of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” Titus 2:13.

Michael K. Agyei Owusu, DMin President

“God is our place of safety. He gives us strength. He is always there to help us in times of trouble. The earth may fall apart. The mountains may fall into the middle of the sea. But we will not be afraid. The waters of the sea may roar and foam. The mountains may shake when the waters rise. But we will not be afraid.”

- Psalm 46:1
