KEY RESULTS IN 2021
The AccLab in Malawi was officially launched in May 2021 under the theme Finding and growing locally-sourced solutions to emerging challenges and opportunities. The team is working to harness new approaches and research, to generate new solutions to test and scale.
AREAS OF WORK FOR THE LAB •
The lab is identifying, refining and upscaling local low-cost cooking and lighting technologies including improvements of community mini-grids, solar cookers, self-powered water pumps and biogas digesters to provide opportunities for renewable energy sources.
