Universiti Brunei Darussalam Library

The Universiti Brunei Darussalam Library primary function is to serve the learning, teaching and research needs of the academic staff and students of UBD. However, the Library’s rich resources are becoming more widely recognised and there is a growing demand from the general public to make use of these for study, research and reference. To this end, the Library accepts members of the professional community and the general public to become external members. The Library had its beginnings in 1985 and has a collection of nearly half a million items, comprising books, periodicals, multimedia, as well as a range of databases in CD-ROM and on-line e-books, journals and electronic databases. Among its collection the General Collections, Bruneiana Digital Collections, Reference Collection, United Nations Collection and E-Resources. The library collections are arranged using the Library of Congress Classification System.
