Ryan, the Public Safety Director for Flowers Plantation has been a police officer since 2005. He has twice received the Life Saving Medal and is a fire fighter. Ryan says, “I am enjoying my role as Public Safety Officer at Flowers, I try to speak with the residents as I drive my rounds to find out their thoughts and needs. I very much appreciate being a part the great sense of community and openness that I have found here.

At present I teach First Responders and am an instructor at the Police Academy and Edgecombe Community College. Ryan resides in Wilson with his wife Melanie and three teenage daughters.
