TUXEDO 1886 REGATTA
Tuxedo 1886 Regatta
On October 9th, the Club hosted its first-ever Tuxedo 1886 Regatta. The Regatta Committee of Phil Tavani (Chair), Joe Ehrlich, Chris Mahan and Mike Martinov were instrumental in bringing sixteen of the country's top rowers to Tuxedo for this special event.
The invitational regatta was set up as a one-on-one knockout style competition with eight people rowing in each bracket - men ’ s and women ’ s. Each race was a fitting 1886 meters. Starting with heats, winners moved to semifinals, and then to finals.

Top prize for the Men went to Ezra Carlson (who went on to win the Head of the Charles!) and top prize for the Women went to Grace Joyce.
