Engine Replacement See Figure 38 for lift trucks equipped with a Kubota diesel engine. 28. Connect a lifting device to engine. Put a block under transmission housing to support transmission. 29. Remove capscrews from transmission bell housing.

27. Use access port on engine to remove bolts that attaching flywheel to torque converter.
The engine is heavy. Make sure that any lifting device has enough capacity to lift the engine. The engine can weigh approximately 363 kg (800 lb).
