THROTTLE CABLE PLAY Inspect initially at 1 month and every 3 months thereafter. Adjust the throttle cable play A as follows: Loosen the locknut 1 of the throttle cable. Turn the adjuster 2 in or out to obtain the correct play. % Throttle cable play A: 3

After adjusting the throttle cable play, tighten the locknut 1.
ENGINE IDLE SPEED Inspect initially at 1 month and every 3 months thereafter. NOTE: Make this adjustment when the engine is fully warm. Connect the electric tachometer or the multi circuit tester to the high-tension cord.
Start the engine and set the engine idle speed between 1 400 and 1 600 r/min by turning the throttle stop screw knob 1. % Engine idle speed: 1 500 – 100 r/min $ 09900-25008: Multi circuit tester set or 09900-26006: Tachometer
