Dark red cattle are in demand these days and when they come this good, and backed by cows like 2Y and 3007A, the guess work is eliminated. 3007A has been a breeding machine, producing not only one special individual in the $150,000 Yuma, but also a $130,000 full sister that just sold at the R Plus dispersal in December. The special ones always have “the look” from day one and I could tell that Navajo was special from the moment he was born. He has never had a bad day. He’s consistently looked good through every stage of life. He has been picked out by every single visitor to the farm over the past year, sales management included.
