Rainbow River YUMA 40K

I purchased some frozen embryos from Barry Labatte a couple years ago and got one hell of a catch on them. I was lucky and got Lots 16 and 17 in this sale, plus three heifers that are in my keeper pen. The Pocahontas cow family has as much fame and recognition within the Labatte program and the Simmental industry as any, and especially the 2Y donor. Her embryos have not been offered for sale very often and when they are available, they sell for a premium. 2Y is as beautiful in the flesh as in her photo - I saw her at Bow Valley a few years ago and she stopped me in my tracks as I walked past her pen. Even amongst the other donors she was standing with, I immediately recognized her. Needless to say, when the opportunity to purchase her Yuma embryos came available, I couldn’t let them pass me by. 40K has always been a bit overshadowed by his red brother, but he is good in his own right. I think he patterns very much like his sire with his extra length of body and trim front third. With a very useful set of numbers, this bull will calve easy and leave you a good set of replacement heifers.
