Dave Caton Email: davecaton@swindon.ac.uk Having worked at the college for almost 16 years now, I have gained a wealth of experience in teaching, learning and assessment from level 2 through to level 6. I have also gained a vast amount of understanding and experience of college policies and procedures. My specialism lies predominantly within the HE environment and I’m currently the programme leader of the Oxford Brookes University BA (Hons) Graphic Design course delivered by the school of art. HE and FE course reviews, HE teaching and learning strategies, critical thinking and higher level assessment practices would all fall under my area of expertise, but I am also developing my understanding of BTec assessment practices and FE internal verification processes, lesson planning, MOODLE and other ILT based teaching and learning strategies. Having recently been appointed to the quality team as a learning coach, I look forward to utilising my experience to support colleagues in developing their own teaching practice

Dawn Greenberg Email: dawngreenberg@swindon.ac.uk I have been a lecturer, course tutor and personal tutor on the Uniformed Public Services courses for four years and teach across a range of levels. As a learning coach I really value the opportunity to work with a range of different people, across college. The role is rewarding as you see people grow and develop in confidence as teachers. Being a learning coach is supportive in its nature so it allows us to work with people to assist them without judgement. I also enjoy being part of the college’s staff development, delivering training across a broad range of topics.

I have been a part of the staff development programme in delivery of sessions to staff as well as being an active member of the ILT and teaching & learning theme groups since they began, and I have a keen interest in IQA and assessment methods. I wanted to join the learning coach team to enable me to support staff in their journey to outstanding practice, I can help in areas of lesson planning, course tutorship, moodle and much more.
