Nearly 2500 years after the battles of Salamis and Marathon, large groups of Persians once again descended upon Athens – this time for love, not war. One year after Dino proposed to me while visiting his family in Athens, we returned to Athens for our wedding. The whitewashed church by the Aegean sea provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable ceremony, followed by a celebration with family and friends which lasted until the early hours of the morning.
