Short chronology:

18. of December 2020: All members of the Foundation‘s Board and the Chairman of the Foundation‘s“ Board establish the Association „Verein Zukunft für Kinder in Slums“. This is done in agreement with the Board of Directors of CARE Deutschland e.V. and of "Deutsche CARE-Stiftung - Hilfe für Menschen in Not." 18. of December: The Foundation‘s Board requests the Association to take over the Foundation's project activities and also its fundraising activities in the future. 27. of January 2021: Letter from the Siegburg District Court stating that the entry in the Register of Associations has been done as "Zukunft für Kinder in Slums e.V.". 8. of February 2021: The recognition of the non-profit status of the e.V. is notified by the Sankt Augustin Tax Office. 11. of March 2022: The Association is included in the list of members of the "Initiative Transparente Zivilgesellschaft". 31. of March 2022: The Schmitz Foundation as the pre-auditing body of the BMZ informs that the Association is approved to apply for BMZ funding.
