hen the covid pandemic caused the movie world to move to streaming services in a big way, the question was whether it would destroy cinemas as we know them and whether we would eventually be doomed to just watching movies at home.

Now we can safely say that despite the catastrophic predictions, no revolution has yet unfolded. At the end of the year, many cinemas reported a return to prerelease numbers, and then the halls were bursting at the seams and attendance records were broken. In addition, it seems that the general price increase is not deterring us from going to the cinemas.

Anyway, let’s be glad that the cinemas are doing well, because it motivates the studios to make more movies in general, not just blockbusters. Just as the Lion King taught us - the circle of life!
