Project Manager(Maternity Cover)
Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for the recruitment of clients and raising public awareness of mental health in the ethnically diverse communities through outreach and promotional campaigns. The selected candidate will benefit from working in the collaborative and professional environment of a fast growing NGO as well as contributing to the betterment of Hong Kong community’s ethnically diverse population. The selected candidate would be required to work from The Zubin Foundation office.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct intake for individuals who are interested in receiving counselling from Ethnic Minority Well-Being Centre
Identify opportunities and organise educational workshops, game booths, events to raise awareness of mental health in the ethnic minority communities
Produce posts and videos to promote mental health and Ethnic Minority Well-being Centre service through social media
Manage ethnically diverse ambassadors who will be supporting at the outreach efforts
Update the Ethnic Minority Well-being Centre website and other marketing campaigns to promote the Centre’s well-being check-up and counselling services to the ethnically diverse communities
Provide support service to Ethnic Minority Well-being Centre clients
Perform ad hoc tasks assigned
The individual MUST:
Be a bachelor’s degree holder majoring in social work, psychology, counselling or relevant subject discipline;,
At least 3 years of aggregate post-qualification working experience and demonstrate a good understanding of ethnically diverse communities or mental health
Experience of working with ethnic minorities in Hong Kong is an advantage
Be very comfortable conversing with stakeholders in English and proficient in Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Punjabi would be preferable
Be proficient in English, both written and oral
Be interested in serving the Hong Kong community with demonstrated passion
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point and Canva
Be self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and strong organisational skills
Be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot and to meet deadlines.
