Job Description for Cultural Inclusion Workshop Helper (One-off) Period: 24 June 2026 (One-off Assignment) Working Hours: 9:00am - 12:30pm Location: Secondary School, Sham Shui Po Allowance: HK$60 per hour What is The Zubin Foundation The Zubin Mahtani Gidumal Foundation (also known as The Zubin Foundation) is a think tank and registered charity committed to improving the lives of Hong Kong ethnic minorities by alleviating poverty and enhancing social inclusion. For more information, see www.zubinfoundation.org Cultural Inclusion Workshop Helper (One-off) Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, the Cultural Inclusion Workshop Helper will support the delivery of a Cultural Inclusion Workshop for secondary school students. The role involves facilitating game booths, engaging students in interactive activities, promoting understanding of Hong Kong's ethnically diverse communities, and helping ensure the smooth operation of the workshop. The selected candidate will contribute to building a more inclusive Hong Kong while gaining experience in community engagement and youth education. Key Responsibilities •
Welcome and greet students attending the workshop.

Facilitate and supervise simple educational game booths and activities.
•
Encourage student participation and engagement in workshop activities.
•
Share basic information about different cultures and communities represented in Hong Kong.
•
Assist with workshop set-up, materials preparation, and pack-down.
•
Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
•
Support workshop staff with participant flow and logistics.
•
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
The individual MUST: • •
Be aged 18 or above. Be a Hong Kong resident with the legal right to work in Hong Kong.

Be able to communicate effectively in English.

Be able to speak at least one ethnically diverse language (e.g. Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, Punjabi, Bengali, Indonesian, Tagalog, or other relevant languages).

Be enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable interacting with secondary school students. Be interested in promoting cultural inclusion and understanding. Have good interpersonal and communication skills. Be punctual, responsible, and able to follow instructions. Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications Individuals from ethnically diverse communities are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in community work, youth engagement, event support, teaching, tutoring, volunteering, or workshop facilitation is an advantage.

Experience working with ethnically diverse communities in Hong Kong is an advantage.
