ZBTHS social studies teacher and community leader

Chris Kubic lead some team-building activities for the Summer Work Program. Students learned about how their personality can allow them to work best with other people, then they worked together to build a structure out of various materials and competed to design an apparatus to move a ball as a team. They worked on their collaboration and communication skills for both tasks and were reminded that HOW you do work is often as important as WHAT you do.

Their future jobs won’t involve play-doh or bungeecord constructions, but they will include teamwork, persistence, listening, and focus, and that’s what they showed in the day’s activities! Good luck to the students this summer for a productive and fun experience!

Chris!
