Distinguished Faculty Award
Lynne Schroh
After 26 years dedicated to our school and her students, Lynne Schroh moved to California with her family to begin a new and exciting chapter in her life. Her husband, Bill, a museum curator, started his ‘dream job’ as President and CEO at History San Jose in 2019, while Lynne finished out the most unusual school year of her career at TPS.

Lynne chose to work at TPS very early in her career and she and Bill lived on campus as newlyweds. They have many good ghost stories to tell from those early years living in Mrs. Blair’s museum rooms!
Emma ‘12 and Theo ‘15 attended TPS from their youngest years, and their mother taught both children. They were among the first faculty children indigenous to the building and much cherished by us all. Over the years, Lynne has counseled many families, collaborated with many teachers, and created many TPS friendships.
As she begins another year of teaching, we wish her much success at St. Andrew’s School in Saratoga, CA. There is much we will miss about her, and not just her skill in the classroom and her willingness to share her knowledge, but also the friend who has worked tirelessly for TPS. We were pleased to honor her with the Distinguished Faculty Award on Class Day, which means her name will now and forever be on the plaque in Blairhame.
The Distinguished Faculty Award recognizes the work, dedication, and accomplishments of Tuxedo Park School Faculty, past and present. We celebrate the honoree for a commitment to outstanding education, excellence in pedagogy, and for fulfilling the mission of the school with enthusiastic and loyal service to the entire TPS community.

Faculty Farewell
MR. DARREN DONALDSON
For six years, Mr. Donaldson taught math and led our math Department as the Math Department Chair. He coached Volleyball, was our Gold Team Advisor for two years, and led many of our students, faculty, and families on a meaningful service trip to Botswana for the past three years. Among his many talents was igniting a passion for service work in children. His Africa elective, for which he taught himself to sew, made over 800 pencil cases for children in Botswana. Thank you, Darren. We wish you the best of luck and good at your School of the Holy Child in Rye, New York.
MR. DEREK BENNETT
Mr. Bennett worked as a physical fitness teacher, wellness instructor, and coach in Field Hockey, Basketball, and Lacrosse. He hosted an early morning yoga session for faculty and always took the time to be present in every conversation. We wish him well in his new school in Vermont.
MS. LISA WEISBROD
Ms. Weisbrod served TPS as our Advancement Associate for several months and our Communications Coordinator for this past year. We wish her the very best in her next adventure in life.
