The nursery in this apartment has just enough space for a crib and rocking chair. The crib can be switched out for a twinsized bed as the baby grows up. The room is also big enough for the rocking chair to be replaced with shelving or a desk as the child needs.

The living space is the largest space in this apartment since this mom likes to spend most of her time caring for and playing with her baby here. There is also a small desk which allows her to get work done while her and the baby are still confined to one room.

This single mom has a very functional apartment for her and her baby. The separation of rooms allows her to close off spaces as needed. Having the ability to keep doors open or closed allows this woman to always be in sight or earshot of her baby. There is an extra door connecting the nursery and main bedroom for easy access at night. As the child grows, this door can be closed off or locked as needed.

The main living space has enough room for both sleeping and living. The south facing windows give a ton of natural light to the space and provide a well lit working spot. There is even enough room for another table for morning work which can be converted to dining when she is entertaining guests.

The converted bedroom gets great natural light, providing the perfect space for getting work done. This space is separate from the main living space, allowing her to have complete silence as needed.

Much of this working woman’s life is spent in the confines of her apartment. The open living space is ideal for a variety of activities. There is tons of storage and surface space for her to be comfortable working in just about any spot. The traditional bedroom space has been converted into a work space where she spends most of her time. The living space doubles as her sleeping area since she prefers to be tucked away while working rather than sleeping.

The amount of seating and private like space is what makes this apartment so functional for this woman. The bed is completely tucked away, providing a safe feeling at night. The corner featuring the armchair and side table is this woman’s favorite spot to have morning coffee while she reads a book in the morning sun.

This studio apartment provides the perfect comfort for this introverted woman. She has a passion for reading, which the built in bookshelves fulfill. The reading nooks all get great natural light and provide a cozy spot to curl up with a book. The studio style living space allows her to always be within reach of her bookshelves and a comfy spot to read. This reader doesn’t have many visitors so the open space is ideal for her. The kitchen and bathroom are pretty standard since this woman lives alone and sees these spaces as functional.

This minimal kitchen is perfect for this woman that likes to order and go out for meals most of the time. The kitchen only features a fridge, a microwave, and a sink, perfect for ordering takeout or storing leftovers.

This woman rarely spends time in her apartment. She uses this space for the basic necessities and likes to be out and about most of the time. The studio space is very small and provides just enough room for her to use this space as she functionally needs to. Her king sized bed is the main feature in her living space and becomes both the sleeping / lounging/ and entertaining area. This is perhaps the most similar to what we think of as the stereotypical bachelor pad.

This single working woman loves to entertain. This apartment features a large kitchen and dining space for guests to enjoy while this entertainer is cooking away. With lots of places to sit and mingle, this apartment is perfect for dinner parties and gatherings. At the entrance is a half bathroom, perfect for guests to use. The full bathroom is tucked away and attached to the bedroom for privacy of the owner. Her personal space has shrunk to the absolute smallest to accommodate her love of hosting.
