Bishop Leah D. Daughtry is a nationally recognized organizeractivist, political strategist, author, and Faith leader. The daughter of a long line of community organizers and activists, Leah represents the fifth consecutive generation of pastors in the Daughtry family. A consummate servant-leader, Leah describes her ability to create calm out of chaos as a God-given gift; and everything she has accomplished is a reflection of that gifting.

Bishop Daughtry currently serves as the Presiding Prelate of The House of the Lord Churches, the fourth in succession. Standing at the intersection of Faith and politics, she works with community activists and organizations, political entities, businesses, and faith

leaders and communities to assist them in building coalitions and partnerships that advance the common good. For her work with and within communities of Faith, Religion News Service named her one of the 12 most influential Democrats in the nation on faith and values politics. She has also served as Resident Fellow at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics, where she focused on the role faith and values play in American politics.

Dr. Chris House is the founder and senior pastor of Christian Community Church of Ithaca, a non-denominational, multiracial church in Ithaca, New York. Coming out of a solid preaching and service tradition rooted in the Black Pentecostal church, his preaching and teaching ministry is marked by profound theological reflection, practical biblical insights, deep spirituality, and intellectual fervor that has made him a popular speaker in secular and sacred arenas.

Dr. House seeks to extend his influence beyond the church by serving local and global communities in ways that help to eradicate systemic and structural inequalities, and through educating faith communities on the roles they can play to bring about a more just and equitable world. As the pioneering visionary for Christian Community Church of Ithaca, Dr. House believes that “while Jesus is changing hearts, we [the

church] need to be changing unjust policies.” Beyond the pulpit, Dr. House is a scholar, public intellectual and associate professor of Communication Studies at Ithaca College. He has received numerous national awards from organizations such as the African American Communication & Culture Division of the National Communication Association and the Association for Equality and Excellence in Education, Inc. He is the editor for the Journal of Pan African Pentecostalism and has also published

articles in scholarly and professional journals like Southern Journal of Communication, Journal of Communication and Religion, Journal of Contemporary Rhetoric, International Journal of Communication, and Journal of Race & Public Policy.

Judge Josephine Victoria Finn is an incumbent member of the New York State Board of Regents. She was first appointed to a 5-year term on April 1, 2014; and was elected to a second 5-year term effective April 1, 2019.

Judge Finn graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta receiving a B.A. in Psychology and Black Studies. She then graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School, where she received a Juris Doctor (J.D). Since then, she has been admitted to the practice of law for 35 years and is trained in mediation.

Prior to her election to the Board of Regents, she served on the Sullivan County Community College Board of Trustees. She has also served on several other boards including: the Private Industry Council of Sullivan County, the Cultural Diversity Committee of the New York State School Boards Association and the Sullivan County

Conditional Release Committee. She is presently on the Sullivan Renaissance Steering Committee, an organization dedicated to beautifying Sullivan County.

Judge Finn taught at Sullivan County Community College for 13 years and ran the Paralegal Program for several years. She has also served as the President of the Sullivan County Bar Association. She is in her fifth term as Village of Monticello Justice and is a member of both the New York State Magistrates

Dr. Eain Sebastian Abernathy is the Senior Managing Director of Abernathy Integrated Capital Fund II LP. He has a Master’s Degree in Finance from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Financial Management Services from Cornell University.

He received his Associate’s Degree in Economics and Finance from Loyola University New Orleans with honors. He was also an International Business honor student in Oral Roberts University.

Having a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary, he is currently the President and CEO of Breakthrough Unlimited Ministries International Inc. and the President and CEO

Dr. Abernathy has a Georgia State University Project Management Certification and is certified by the Southeastern Hedge Fund Association. He has published “Hedge Fund Economic Impact on Social Investing: Creating Social Wealth Programs via Wall Street Investment Banking Groups in 2015.
