Trouble In Mind

Written By Alice Childress

Directed By
Kashi Johnson
Join Lehigh University’s Department of Theatre for a powerful and thought-provoking production of Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress. Set in 1957, the play follows Wiletta Mayer, a Black actress, as she and her castmates navigate the racial and gender prejudices of a new Broadway show led by a white director. With sharp humor and surprising moments of levity, the play reveals deep-seated issues that are still relevant today. We look forward to sharing this important production withyou!
