What is a celebrity stylist? – As a celebrity stylist, I am hired by a publicist, a production company, or sometimes directly by a celebrity, to select wardrobe and style looks for appearances on the red carpet, in an advertisement, or as part of a magazine editorial. How do you become a celebrity fashion stylist? – There are probably several paths, but I started as an assistant. During that time I did a lot of test shoots and built my portfolio, which eventually led to getting my own smaller jobs. It took patience, commitment, and endurance! What qualifications do you need to be a fashion stylist? – Of course you need to have an eye for fashion and really love it! You need to be able to understand what clients want and deliver on their requests, and you must stay organized! You also need to be able to be on your feet for long shoot days! Creativity, an immaculate sense of style, good manners and a strong work ethic help, too!
