TOSEE OUR SPEAKER SCHEDULE

CBD gummies, vapes, lotions, bath bombs, beer, coffee, and teaeverywhere you turn you see the gentle encroachment of cannabinoids making their way into our everyday products and treats. Each offering a better taste, a more precise dose, or novelty of experience unlike the others. Plans have already been announced to carry them at your local grocery store and pharmacy, and for some, hemp has tip-toed its way into the bedroom, under the sheets.

Many claim the cannabis plant as a revolution in medicine; offering benefits of a healthy lifestyle without the nuisance and side effects rampant in the synthetic pharmaceutical industry. Others emphasize the social shifts sweeping across the country and cheer state after state joining the cannabis movement. Either way, that turn in acceptance can be attributed to a widespread public education of THC and CBD. The old-time stereotype linking weed use to ‘stoners’ and ‘delinquents’ has fallen into the past. With every success story, be it human or pet, we rightfully rebrand cannabis as a cure-all in holistic medicine and a safe go-to for recreational use.

Naturally, you’ve heard of or possibly even dabbled with many different cannabis products. Maybe you have a favorite candy for putting you to sleep, or maybe a special strain of flower for sci-fi movie night. But would it surprise you that some people even have a favorite brand of CBD when it comes to their sex lives? Well, as humans tend to do, lots of couples have been experimenting at home to see if the benefits of hemp also reach into their most intimate activities. For some, the answer is a resounding “yes”! And for reasons that might surprise you.

But First

If you haven’t already, let us get acquainted with the basics. In general there are two dominant categories of cannabis-based products - Those that contain THC are psychoactive and give you a “high” and “heady” feeling. They are illegal in some states and users must be cautious when and where they use them to stay out of trouble. CBD, on the other hand, does not induce psychoactive effects and is often associated with holistic medicine used for reducing anxiety, muscle pain, inflammation, and insomnia among other things. As of 2019 CBD consumption has been legalized in all 50 states; however, products mixed with THC are still highly regulated and need your full attention. Products with and amount of THC should be clearly labeled, so be safe and aware.
