Dit is hét stadsdeel van toeristen, grote winkelketens en vele historische bezienswaardigheden. In de kleine steegjes in de binnenstad vind je nog lokale winkeltjes en gezellige pleintjes.

Wil je tijdens het winkelen even uitrusten en genieten van een heerlijke lunch? Dan zul je niet lang hoeven zoeken, je vindt hier vele culinaire adresjes waar je terecht kunt. Historische pareltjes zoals de Sint S­ ervaasbasiliek, 't Dinghuis en de ­Basiliek van Onze Lieve Vrouw kun je hier ook bewonderen.

Deel één was SOCRATES, gespeeld door Bruno Vanden Broecke. De voorstelling heeft bijna 100 keer gespeeld en is door zo’n 30.000 bezoekers bezocht.

Pers en publiek waren unaniem enthousiast en keken toen al reikhalzend uit naar deel twee. In deze theatermonoloog kijkt Marx met de ogen van nu terug op zijn erfenis. Voor het podiumbeeld werkte ze samen met de Londense videomaker/ontwerper ­Maxmana, verantwoordelijk voor de video van Scheef en winnaar van de Grand Prix Dutch Animation 2015. Eefje de Visser klinkt nog altijd eigenzinnig en dromerig, maar ook dansbaarder dan ooit. Op deze avond zal Eefje liedjes spelen uit haar hele repertoire, maar in de broeierige sfeer van Nachtlicht blijven en daarmee een ode brengen aan de nacht. // Music > This time around Eefje de Visser gives us a glimpse of her as a multi-instumentalist and reinterprets her melancholic Pop songs.
