WEEK 9 READING: TITLE OF READING
Question 1: What are Durer’s rules for perspectival projection? (Maximum 100 words) Durersdefinitionforperspectivalprojectionwerethatitisapictureplanethathaseitherbeendrawn,carvedorpainted thatcapturestheentiredpscrwithinaframetoportraymultipleobjects.Avisualpyramidisdrawnbyatransparentline to that is also known as the window. The tip of the pyramid is the eye view and the base is what is seen by the eye.
Question 2: Describe homogenous space? (Maximum 100 words)
Ahomogenousspaceisnotonethatisgivenorcapableofexistinginreality,butisinsteadonethatisconstructed.Its elements only consist of points joined to one another, and they have no purpose other than to show the position of objectsinrelationtoeachotherandhavenomeaningontheirownapartfromthisrelation.Whenthereisdiversityin content,theycanraisenoquestionastheythemselvesonlyservetoexpressanidealrelationandhavenocontentwhatsoever. The reality of a homogenous space is only a functional one.

QUAD PERSPECTIVE 1 + 2 Perspective 1 This view includes men that come from different countris, some of them are construct stairs that can lead people directly to the platform which stand by the woman; one of them is carring bricks; others wish to show their respect to the woman. Also, this view was obervered by Macro Polo who was bent his knee on the ground.
Perspective 2 This line perspective illutrates the time after those men constructed stairs. The more the powerful the men are, the higher the level they can reached. However, no one could not find the dreamed woman. The place is ugly and antiquated. This view was seen by an normal height of human beside a conlmn.

PERSPECTIVE SCENE 1 + 2 Perspective 1:
This beautiful lady stands on an extremely decorated platform with the wall painting on the surface of platform. She is perfect, stays with angels, just like in the heaven; men want to persue her, but it is very hard. Also, window is like that of church, it makes the sence blesser. Moreover, I wish to use backgroound and decoration to stengthen the felling of the scence, not only a background. Perspective 2: With the time pass on, men could reach the place where the woman stand. They saw cracked columns, no woman, nothing is similar to the scene that they dreamed. In this story, the woman not only represent the person men wish to persue, but also their appetency. Once people is very close to the dream, they do not want to persue anymore, or in other words, they were dominated by appetency. Two scenes represent the same place but with different views on each side of the city, the horizontal axis is more likely to be a mirror but divided time.

(Maximum 100 words) Autographic those arts, like painting and sculpture, that depend for their authenticity upon the direct contact of the author. It is by one’s own hand. The concept of authenticity is different in music, poetry or theater, which is allographic. Allographic arts are those capable of being reproducted at a distance from the author by means of notation.
Question 2: Why do architects need new representational techniques? (Maximum 100 words) Old representational techniques still have its place in the fundamental works of architecture, but deemed useless compared to contemporary techniques. As time goes by, the high-pressure nature of advancement in knowledge will force architects to drop old techniques and adapt new ones to their work.
