The new FLEX hose is the direct result of the successful co-design between ZECA, its distributors and Italian bodyshops.

The first phase of the project was the in-depth and accurate analysis of all the process stages in bodyshops: from the initial vehicle protection all the way through to cleaning and final finishing.

ZECA’s R&D team was deployed to work alongside end-users and to collect crucial and essential information such as bending radiuses of cables and hoses whilst being used with a variety of different tools the behavioural characteristics of fluids used in different stages, as well as dimensions and temperatures of all workspaces.

Once prototypes were ready for testing, ZECA organised a nationwide tour that involved members of its Sales, Marketing & Technical Departments for over 2 months! The goal of this extraordinary exercise was to discuss and evaluate all various alternatives and possibilities with over 200 distributors and bodyshops, which led to the final design of the new FLEX hose.

Zeca’s new flex hose has been specifically designed for heavy daily in enviroments where a light and flexible hose is required, such as body shops, shipyards, etc.
