Sustainability is not a cult for us: It is a matter close to our hearts and a long-term process. Saving (plastic) waste, low-emission production, processing renewable raw materials. The direction with its team of area managers is always striving to develop further, to dare new things and to think and plan with an eye to the future. Of course, we have also planned innovations for 2026. Exciting initiatives regarding the CO2 footprint will be started in order to further develop the entire operating process in a sustainable manner.

Social engagement
The economic, ecological, and social future of our region is very important to us. We are dedicated to actively contributing in a number of ways. We invest in South Tyrol’s young generation by providing internships, hiring and training trainees – through events, talks, or guided tours –, working closely with the local hotel management schools, sponsoring specialist graduation balls, and providing other economic, organisational, and educational measures. We support the FC Südtirol football team and its youth teams, the Weinwelt Girlan cultural association, the local tourist office, South Tyrol’s tourism development, as well as many organisations, associations, and clubs in the fields of culture, sport, civil protection, and youth support. That’s our contribution to the region for its preservation, continuity, and development, and to supporting youth and social organisations.
PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM
Our photovoltaic system by the renowned brand „Longi Solar“ produces environmentally friendly energy with an impressive output of approxrimately 160 kilowatt-peak (kWp) With this performance, we produce over 150 megawatts per year, which is enough to generate sufficient electricity to cover the annual consumption of more than 60 households. With our in-house CHP (Combined Heat and Power) plant, we also produce green electricity, totaling 120,000 kWh. This corresponds to the annual electricity needs of around 40 households. In total, we generate green energy for over 100 households annuall

A green roof is not only beautiful to look at, it also contributes to a healthier climate and provides an undisturbed habitat for insects and bees. Technically, it fulfills the tasks of thermal insulation in winter or cooling in summer, achieving significant energy savings in heating or cooling. In addition, it reduces electrosmog and thus creates the best conditions for healthy sleep in our suites.

The daily rate offered to you could vary as we rate our prices according to the season, the length of your stay (1-3 days, 4-6 days and 7 days and more)and the request. The extraordinary terroir of Poggio al Rigoloccio provides ideal conditions for wines with character, structure, and origin. From this conviction arose the vision to develop the estate with clarity and passion — driven by true dedication to wine and viticulture. Bruno Moser and Gerhard Sanin took over the estate to realize this vision. Sanin is an experienced winemaker with decades of work at renowned wineries in South Tyrol and Tuscany. His fine sense for precision, origin, and balance lends the wines elegance, mineral tension, and depth. His signature now defines the style of Poggio al Rigoloccio.
The vineyards are situated at 40–100 meters above sea level, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. The proximity to the historic pyrite mine of Gavorrano – once one of europe’s most important deposits – deeply influences the soil, as does the climate: warm days, cool nights, and constant sea breezes.

For generations, the Moser family has devoted themselves with heart and passion to cultivating vineyards in the Überetsch region. In the past, the grapes were delivered to local wineries – today, with Tenuta Moser in Caldaro on the South Tyrolean Wine Road, the dream of producing and refining our own wines has come true. Here, we process our grapes ourselves, bottle them, and share the fruits of our dedication with you.

FRUIT CULTIVATION AND APPLE JUICE AT GUTSHOF MOSER
In mid-August, the “Gala” apple begins the harvest in our family-owned orchards. This typical summer apple is rich in over 30 vitamins, trace elements, potassium, and many other valuable minerals. Our other apple varieties also impress with aromatic flavor and crisp skin. From this South Tyrolean apple diversity, we press our golden vitamin-rich juice at Gutshof Moser – a fresh and natural delight.

Rising high on porphyry cliff just 3 km from here you will see Sigmundskron Castle, one of the largest castles & grounds in Südtirol Alto Adige not to mention home to one of the 5 Messner Mountain Museums (MMM).
The centrepiece of the Messner Mountain Museums, MMM Firmian at Sigmundskron Castle, illustrates the relationship between man and the mountains. These ancient walls at Sigmundskron Castle, complemented by a contemporary steel and glass structure, are the heart of the entire museum concept. The museum houses pictures, sculptures, symbolic artefacts and relics which convey the true meaning of the relationship between man and the mountains. MMM Firmian is a unique place with incredible views, both inside and out.
The museum and castle grounds are open from the third Sunday in March through to the second Sunday in November. Closed on Thursdays.

GENERAL INFORMATION
PRICES Prices are in euro, quoted per person per day, based on two fullpaying guests per room and include our ¾ pleasure board. A discount of 20.00 euro is applied for bed & breakfast only bookings. To keep the website as well as our journal as clear as possible, we listed our prices for stays of 7 nights. The daily rate offered to you could vary as we rate our prices according to the season, the length of your stay (1-3 days, 4-6 days and 7 days and more)and the request. The local tax is charged separately and amounts to €3.50 per day for hotel guests and €3.00 per day for apartment guests, applicable to all persons aged 14 and over. The actual layout of rooms and suites may differ slightly from the images shown.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY In order to guarantee you and your family the full comfort of our suites, the number of guests should not exceed the number of beds or sofa beds of a suite. Thus, it is not possible to put provisional extra beds in our suites. We hope for your understanding.

DOGS You may bring your dogs to the hotel in a dog basket. We charge 34 euro per day for dogs up to 9.9 kg, and 48 euro for dogs over 10 kg. In both cases food is not included. Please understand that no dogs are allowed in the wellness area. We have a designated area for dogs on the lawn and in the restaurant. Please observe the instructions in our dog guide.
One of our main goals is to make your booking, as well as your stay, as easy and uncomplicated as possible. In order to do this, we have put together a few booking guidelines.
BOOKING Your booking becomes confirmed in two steps: Once we have received your written reservation and sent you the booking confirmation, your reservation is considered binding. Therefore, we need no deposit or credit card details. Of course, you can pay a part of the total amount in advance, by transferring the sum on our bank account.
CANCELLATIONS are an unpleasant subject for you as a guest and for us as hosts. Of course we understand that something can happen to anyone, but you will also understand that it is a pity for us if rooms remain empty when other guests would have liked to have booked.
GIFT VOUCHER
If it is not possible for you to realize your Weinegg holiday, a free cancellation or postponement of your stay is possible if the written cancellation is made up to 7 days before the agreed arrival date. For cancellations between the 6th day and 1 day before the planned arrival, we charge 30% of the confirmed booking value. If the cancellation is made on the day of arrival or not at all, the cancellation fee is 80% of the confirmed room rate. In case of a later arrival or an earlier departure notified after the free cancellation period, we will charge 50% of the confirmed price of the stay.
OUR RECOMMENDATION In order to avoid possible inconveniences, we recommend you to conclude a travel cancellation insurance, e.g. with our partner „europäische Reiserversicherung“. You will find more information about this on our homepage or you can also contact our reception team by email or telephone.
WEINEGG‘S FAIRNESS OFFER If we are able to re-sell your booked and cancelled room after the period of chargefree cancellation, you will only be charged for the actual incurred deficit.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY BOOKINGS A minimum stay of 5 nights is required for Easter, Ascension, Corpus Christi, Pentecost, Ascension Day, the Day of German Unity, All Saints Day, Christmas and New Year‘s Eve. In case of abbreviation of your holiday in this periods to less than 5 nights, we calculate 50% of the originally booked days.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Your room will be ready from 2 pm on your day of arrival. On your day of departure, please vacate your room by 12 pm. If you request a specific room number, we will try our best to satisfy your request. However, we cannot guarantee availability.
EARLY-CHECK-IN & LATE-CHECK-OUT If possible, we will gladly offer you a free early check-in and late check-out.
UNDERGROUND GARAGE You are welcome to park your car in our underground car park free of charge.
