For many years, since 1999, we have been designing and manufacturing water sports equipment - inflatable kayaks, catarafts and accessories. We love to invent new things, test equipment and find creative solutions for ordinary things.

We want to make water sport closer to people, wish more people could spend time on the water with pleasure, so we try to make the boats easy setting, safe and comfortable.

Our main feature is the innovative and unique design of our products. We have always found our own technical solutions, combining different types of materials in order to create boats with the best paddling properties and make them reliable for years.

In the design of Zelgear kayaks, you will find many thoughtful and ergonomic details. Quick assembly (inflating) + excellent paddling performance: all for the convenience and comfort of the user.

All kayaks and catarafts are made in Ukraine, at a factory located in the suburbs of Kyiv. For more than a year, our country has been fighting for the freedom of our people. Despite this, we have added several new items to the Zelgear range.

One of the advantages over rafts of similar size is the total carrying weight is so much lighter. Cats fits into a single compact backpack and is easily carried by one person.

CATARAFTS

Our Frameless Cataraft can be inflated in just 10 minutes and ready to navigate through any type of H20 surface, from calm to class 4 rapids. It is lightweight and durable.

Contour Cats - our traditional "sit-on-top" series of catarafts. Paddlers sit on top of the main tubes, anchoring both feet to the floor using foot straps or footwells and optional thigh braces. Body position is slightly twisted, as common with river rafts.

Having less bottom drag and thus, being faster and easier to handle than flat-bottom rafts, these Cats are ideal for long distance river touring.

Raised central floors with multiple drops and D-rings provide ample space and attachment points for your camping gear.

We care about quality of our products and always use best available materials to make sure our boats will give you long and nearly care-free service.

Our Catarafts are constructed from high quality German HeyTex PVC fabric 850 g/m2, YKK hardware, Scoprega inlet valves, pressure relief valves and pumps.

Contour-2 is suitable for 2 paddlers. Frameless design allows for greater force distribution and shock absorbency, when cataraft hits the rock or anvother obstacle. These cats are virtually unbreakable!

Paddlers are seated on top of the main tubes with both legs in the raft. The cataraft design makes river touring much easier than the heavyweight rafts which has a fair bit of drag.

Cats have a smaller surface in contact with the water (compared with ordinary rafts) and therefore can travel faster, EG least effort required to paddle and turn the Cat.

One of the main features of this model is versatility - you can use Spark 370 for solo or tandem trips. For one paddler, the seat and knee supports are mounted in the center of the boat.

Due to the complex external shape of the bottom, the kayak has great hydrodynamics. Longitudinal recess on the high pressure bottom in combination with inflatable stems (in the bow and stern) serves as an excellent keel.

And now - the kayak is not just going, it is flying! The feeling of lightness and even airiness - you just don’t want to stop on such a kayak.

The outer width of the model with profiled high side tubes is 83 cm. You'll feel protected and cosy staying inside. It is comfortable for the paddler to sit on an inflatable seat 10 cm high. By fixing knee supports, you will sit tightly in the boat and won’t lose energy when paddling.

Comfortable average speed is 6,5 km/h. You can make a speed up to 9 km/h, depending on the effort applied.

After all, the rigidity of the Spark kayak is comparable to plastic kayaks. The assembly of such a kayak is very simple and takes only few minutes!

For relaxing tandem trips you can use fasteners to install two seats. In this case (non sport format) knee supports are not installed.

Comfort and convenience paddling is a guarantee of great impressions from your trip! 10 cm high inflatable seat made of TPU (thermo- polyurethane) is pleasant to the touch, not afraid of moisture and dries quickly.

Safety valves regulate the pressure in the inflatable elements and bleed excess air on a hot day. Should ALWAYS be in the OPEN position.

Due to the longitudinal partition, the side tubes are rather narrow. The kayak`s contours have the correct hydrodynamic shape and it`s always pleasure to paddle. The bow stem cuts through the water and makes paddling easier, the stern stem keeps the kayak on course perfectly.

Comfortable reinforced handles are welded on the bow and stern to carry the kayak when assembled.

Velcro fasteners for paddles areinstalledonboth sidetubes of the kayak to secure your paddle while relaxing on the water, fishing or snacking.

There are many welded loops onthesidestubesforinstalling seats to the desired position (for 1, 2 or 3 paddlers), fixing the luggage, fitting the knee supports.

There are all the necessary fasteners for installing the apron on the kayak - PVC triangles on the side tubes and hidden Velcro on the bow and stern.

There are different aprons for Spark 450 model - with 1, 2 or 3 cockpits.

You will find the special pocket on the outer bottom. That is the place for installing aluminiumskeg . The U-shaped skeg fixes tightly after inflating the bottom, it won’t fall out of the pocket and get lost.

Steering pedals are mounted on the PVC base in front of the stern paddler. The pedals are made of moisture resistant plywood. Thanks to the strap system, the pedals are easy to adjust to the right position for the length of the paddler's legs.

Rudder steering allows to control the kayak and set the right course when paddling. Best for using on big waterrivers, lakes, seas. The rudder helps a lot in windy weather and while paddling with an oblique coastal waves.

IGLA 410 hybrid inflatable kayak. Comfortable, fast, light and manoeuvrable.

The hull’s refined contours produce a sleek, hydrodynamic form which sees the IGLA slice through the water.

Kayaks of Igla Series is a perfect boat for both short-term outings and long trips. It is as quick in motion as plastic or folding kayaks, besides that possess all the advantages of inflatable boats

The IGLA is composed of two parts:a twin side-tube hull fora slim profile, and a removable high-pressure dropstitch floor to tension the structure and improve rigidity and glide.

The side tubes are slacked one abovetheotherwithaninternal partition. This arrangement not only improves longitudinal rigidity over a single side tube, but at 76 cm wide, makes the IGLA one of the narrowest IKs in its class while retaining generous internal space and excellent stability.

The IGLA 410 makes a fast and spacious solo kayak, but at4.1mlonghasroomfortwo with a second optional seat. At 4.1 metres, the IGLA is also suited to tandem daypaddles with the optional second seat. It’s a great way to enjoy the water with a friend.

The kayak has attachment points for mounting an optional rudder, including a pivot mount on the stern and foot pedal fittings on the floor.

With a rudder you can compensate for oblique waves or winds pushing the kayak off track while maintaining a balanced padding rhythm. Controlling the kayak with the pedals is intuitive while performing tight turns are merely a secondary benefit to rudders. Adjustable knee braces combined with footrests improve the connection with the boat to improve paddling efficiency.

The boats are fitted with automatic air release / safety valves on the main side air chambers so it is not possible to accidentally over inflate and do damage.
