Design & Intention

Based on my research, I found that the need to preserve history is crucial to building a better, brighter future. The region is intransigent so in an attempt to disrupt that rigidity, I propose the question; how do we understand change to project the future?

What I aim to do is provide a shift in atmosphere from cold and unyielding to warm and inviting, allowing guests to reflect on the history of the region and by extension their own personal history and what it means to learn from the past to grow all while preserving sacred thoughts and beliefs.

Change does not mean to forget.
