2.The Afterlife of Authoritarianism
—Monuments and Democratic Transition
The exhibition, in collaboration with curators at Brown University, raises questions about the transition period after the regime decline and options for the future by presenting monuments to authoritarianism in Brazil and Hungary. The exhibition takes place in a neutral area of Berlin that has also experienced horrific political violence. The exhibition uses time as a clue to convey different atmospheres and empowers people with different psychological changes by creating different forms, light, materials, and view scales in the three spaces. It considers the intersection of political violence, monumental representations, and national memories in Brazil and Hungary to understand how memorials become key to the transition process that shapes post-authoritarian society.
HUNGARY(1949-1989)
Created in 1947, the statue of a Red Army soldier commemorates the "liberation" of Hungary from the Nazis at the end of World War II and the Soviet soldiers who died in battle. The 6-metertall bronze soldier became a symbol of Soviet oppression against Hungarians. The sculpture was destroyed during the revolution of 1956 but rebuilt two years later. In 1990, after the fall of communism, new Soviet soldiers were removed from the monument again and now stand in Memorial Park.
After the fall of the communist regime in Hungary in 1989, many communist statues and monuments were immediately removed. These form the basis of the Memento Park's current collection of statues. This park is not about monuments or sculptures, but a critique of the ideology that uses these statues as symbols of authority.
Synchronized Memory Landscape
1985s
Border with Austria is opened, and thousands of East Germans escape to the West. Communist state in Hungary is dismantled and a transition to a multi-party democracy starts.
1989s
The Stalin Monument was statue of Joseph Stalin in Budapest, Hungary. Completed in December 1951 as a "gift to Joseph Stalin from the Hungarians on his seventieth birthday" it was torn down on October 23, 1956 by enraged anti-Soviet crowds during Hungary's October Revolution.
1974s
Kadar gradually introduces limited liberalising reforms. Political prisoners and church leaders are freed, farmers and industrial workers given increased rights.
1985s
Tancredo Neves chosen as first civilian president in 21 years under military-run electoral college, but dies before he can be inaugurated. His vice-president Jose Sarney becomes president, and struggles to cope with inflation.
General Ernesto Geisel becomes president, introduces reforms which allow limited political activity and elections.
Protesters write insulting words on fallen Stalin statue
1960s

Brazil History
Communists consolidate power under Soviet occupation, with new constitution, nationalisation of industry, collectivised agriculture and mass terror.
1947s
Soviet forces drive the Germans out of Hungary by early April. New coalition government introduces land reform bill, redistributing land from large estate owners to peasants.

BRAZIL (1964-1985) Separated Memory Landscape
The Brazilian city of Porto Alegre encapsulates the country's approach to dictatorship monuments. Within a radius of 3.5 kilometers, one will find a modernist 1979 monument to the first military dictatorship, the "Monumento a Castelo Branco". The "Monumento aos Mortose Desaparecidos", a monument dedicated to the regime's victims in 1995, is not far from the building that was once the first torture center of the regime in the Southern Cone, the "Dopinha". Both the abstract form and the monument's location seem ironic. The history of these monuments and the public debate (or lack thereof) surrounding them reveals Brazil's policy of reconciliation through institutional forgetting.
Brazil has largely refused to address the trauma of an authoritarian regime and has thus struggled to create an ambiguous memory

3. "NO" MEANS NO
The building uses female's body shapes as the source of inspiration to attract people who is ill-disposed to women into the exhibition area and achieve the goal of changing them. The mass on the other side is produced by the combination of the four stages of the story and the upper part. The design of the heart of the entrance illustrates that love is the prerequisite of sex.

Outcome Rendery Three Part Of Narrative
The building consists of three stages. The first stage shows the clothes that women wear when they are sexually assaulted. The second stage shows the pain of women to make the crowd empathetic. The third stage shows the result of this behavior.

Interaction Process
When the viewer enters the second space, he will get a package made of traditional Indian women's clothing. The bag has a 3D glasses inside. When the viewer opens the bag and puts on the 3D glasses, it indicates that the viewer also joins the atrocity.

Rendering 2part
When the viewer comes to the interactive device, there is no "no" option on the screen. Because in general rape cases, the rapist will continue whatever the victims say. After the reviewer selects "yes," the screen will play images that women are hurt.
Rendering 3part
When the audience comes to the last space, he will see people watching him with scorn and disdain on the screen, which is to simulate the feeling of being utterly isolated. The previous exit uses an iron fence, which implies that the last consequence is being imprisoned.
Vision Of 7 Species Research
4.VISION OF US
—7 Species visions Exhibition
The content of the exhibition is based on non-anthropocentrism, from the perspective of vision, by equally expounding the special features of each species, so that the audience realizes that human beings are part of nature and not above nature. The design takes the natural ecosystem and biological chain as the basic prototype of the space, aiming to create a flowing space and a multiperspective viewing method. Through spatial division and connection, species are connected with each other, and the audience's vision is constantly intertwined in the space, creating a multi-hierarchy viewing experience. Even when people stand in one space, their sight can reach any space, so people both watch and be watched at the same time, completing the identity conversion between different species in the ecological circle.
AS A PART OF MAMMALS, HUMAN BEINGS TRANSFORM ENERGY FROM OTHER SPECIES INTO OUR BODY, AND THEN INTO OTHER SPECIES AGAIN, COMPLETING THE CYCLE OF THE BIOSPHERE.
We Are Part Of Nature Biological Chain
Seven species make up this world, each species forms a circular ecology by itself, and through the biological chain, the entire species forms a great reincarnation
Through the research on the vision of seven species, multiple installations and walls are designed, so that the audience can experience the vision of different species and learn that there are many advantages of other species that we can learn from.
Prototype Generation
When the audience comes out from the fish part as the ending, we return to human vision, thus completing the concept of the whole ecological cycle.
Through the concept of ecological recycling, experiment with an integrated spatial form, based on circular elements and intertwined so that the audience can have a richer visual experience
MULTI-VIEW CHANNEL
People standing at certain angles can see 5 to 6 other spaces through holes and arched doors.
PLANT
Make people feel the feeling of light by inserting led lights on the circular dome
REPTILES THERMAL INSTALLATION

THIS SECTION IS A PANEL PRESENTING THE FOUR PROPOSALS, WHICH IS PLACED ON A STAND COMPOSED OF SEVERAL TABLES. THE PANEL IS ALSO THE BASE FOR THE AR BRIDGE. FOR GUARANTEEING THE FREEDOM OF THE AUDIENCE'S STREAMLINE, FULLY COMBINING THE EXHIBITION TABLE WITH THE ORIGINAL COLUMN STRUCTURE OF THE SPACE AND MAKING IT A VISUAL CENTER APPLIED AS THE DESIGN STRATEGY.

VR PART INCLUDES SEVERAL TRICYCLES AND BICYCLES, WHICH REQUIRE A LARGE SPACE. THEREFORE, THE FIVE BICYCLES ARE ARRANGED CIRCULARLY AND COMBINED WITH THE ORIGINAL COLUMN STRUCTURE TO MAXIMIZE SPACE UTILIZATION. AND THIS ARRANGEMENT CAN REDUCE THE USE OF WIRES AND PLUG BOARDS AND MAKE THE EXPERIENCE SPACE MORE CONCISE.
BECAUSE THE AUDIENCE NEEDS A CERTAIN SAFETY RANGE WHEN USING THE VR EQUIPMENT, A CIRCULAR CARPET IS USED AS THE DIVISION OF THE SAFETY AREA. BECAUSE THE CONTRAST BETWEEN THE CARPET AND THE FLOOR MATERIAL MAKES THE AUDIENCE CAN STILL DISTINGUISH WHETHER THEY ARE IN THE INNER CIRCLE WHEN WEAR THE HEADSET. AND IN ORDER TO MAKE THE EXPERIENCER LESS DISTURBED, THIS PART IS DESIGNED TO ONE SIDE OF THE SPACE.

Lighting
WE CHOSE LED STRIP AS THE LIGHTING DEVICE, AND THE BRACKET IS MADE OF ALUMINUM ALLOY STRIPS WHICH ALLOWS US TO USE ITS U SHAPE STRUCTURE TO HIDE THE CIRCUIT AND THE PLUG-IN BOARD INSIDE.
THE ORIGINAL SITE HAS TO BE PROTECTED SO THERE IS NO NAIL ATTACHED TO ANY COLUMN. IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE LIGHTING DEVICE AND MEET THE NEEDS OF VISUAL GUIDANCE, WE DESIGNED THE ENCLOSURE OF THE COLUMNS. BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE PREFABRICATED IN ADVANCE AND THEN QUICKLY ASSEMBLED ON SITE. THEREFORE, THE ENCLOSURE STRUCTURE NEEDS TO BE ASSEMBLED WITH AS FEW STEPS AS POSSIBLE UNDER THE PREMISE OF STABILITY, SO WE DESIGNED THIS L SHAPE FORM ASSEMBLY METHOD.
Bench With The Pell Bridge Ruler Bench Install
THERE IS A LOWER BENCH ON ONE SIDE, SO THAT CHILDREN CAN SEE THE BRIDGE, BUT ALSO FOR VISITORS TO SIT. THERE IS A TIME LIMIT FOR INSTALLATION SO ALL THE EXHIBITION PARTS ARE DESIGNED TO BE EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND EASY TO CARRY AWAY.
BECAUSE THE LENGTH OF THE LIGHT STRIP IS EIGHT FEET, IT IS NECESSARY TO DESIGN A REINFORCED STRUCTURE AT THE CONNECTION TO MAKE IT STABLE WHICH ALSO CONDUCIVE TO TRANSPORTATION. EASY TO CARRY AWAY.
THERE ARE ONLY FOUR ORIGINAL SOCKETS IN THIS EXHIBITION HALL, BUT VR/AR EQUIPMENT NEEDS ELECTRICITY. THROUGH REASONABLE LAYOUT, IT IS ENSURED THAT IPADS, HEADSETS, COMPUTERS AND LIGHTS CAN GET POWER, AND AT THE SAME TIME, PAY ATTENTION TO HOW TO ROUTE CABLES ON UNEVEN GROUND NOT TO TRIP PEOPLE, OR WIRES ARE DISTURBED BY VISITORS

AMONG MANY EXCITING SPECIAL GUESTS, US SENATOR SHELDON WHITEHOUSE WHO INSPIRED THIS PROJECT WITH THE RHODE ISLAND SCHOOL OF DESIGN IN 2021, WAS DELIGHTED IN BEING PART OF THE PUBLIC EXPERIENCE OF THE DREAM, THE VISION, AND THE REALITY.
THE EXHIBITION FEATURED CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR VISITORS TO OFFER FEEDBACK AND SHARE THEIR OWN DREAMS FOR RHODE ISLAND’S FUTURE. COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK CONFIRMED THAT PEOPLE ARE EAGER TO ENJOY SUCH ACCESS IN THE REAL WORLD.
THE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CROSSING THE PELL INSTALLATION HAS GARNERED BACKING FROM BIKE NEWPORT AND GOVERNMENT LEADERS LIKE US SENATORS JACK REED AND SHELDON WHITEHOUSE. AND NOW THAT THE STATE HAS RECEIVED $82.5 MILLION FOR RETROFITTING THE BRIDGE, THE BUZZ THAT THE PROJECT IS GENERATING MAY LEAD TO REAL-WORLD ADVANCES.
