EARTH TALES COLLECTION OF BEAUTIFUL MARBLE PRINTS WIITH AN EUROPEAN TOUCH. EXPERIMENTED WITH DIIFFERENT STYLES AND DESIGNED SETTINGS RANGING FROM FEATURE WALLS TO SLIDING DOORS. THIS SWATCH COLLECTION REALLY GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPAND MY CREATIVE FLOW AND I ENJOYED PLAYING AROUND WITH THESE PRINTS WHILE DRAFTING OUT A DESIGN.

Earth Tales Vol I - Orion Gold

EARTH TALES VOL II | GREEK SOUL - CORFU One of my favourite selected works.

Design Direction: To design a luxury walk in closet with a marbled feature wall from the Earth Tales Vol II Greek Soul collection. To pair with the purity of the chosen swatch, the furnitures are designed with a minimalist style and the color palette follows white with a wood backing to add a little warmth to the space. Acccompanied by a modern-style gold chrome lighting fixture to complete the room’s furnishings.

The doors of the walk in closet are also designed with floor to ceiling reflective tinted glass panels framed with classic black chrome metal. The reflectiveness of the panels makes the room feel and look more spacious.

Another favourite selected work Design Direction: To design an exquisite kitchen space with built in cabinet system featuring a kitchen backsplash from the Earth Tales Vol II French Soul collection. To bring out the rich blue tones from the chosen swatch, dark wood flooring is used and furnitures are kept to a minimum; simple built in cabinet system and a fridge, both in black. The walls on the sides are also in black to further draw in the attention to the backsplash by framing it.

A white marbled island counter is set in the middle of the space to add a contrast to the dark tones used in the surrounding. Also adds as a luxurious finishing to the space.

Finishing off with gold geometric lighting fixtures to bring the monochrome and rich tones together.

Favourite design concept & style

My design philosophy is very much heavily inspired by Ludwig mies van de rohe and his well known “less is more� statement. I have always liked the concept behind minimalism and it would always be my go-to design and style whenever it comes to designing. I was always leaning towards the concept of linearity and as a designer, I loved working with straight lines and geometry, hence its relatively easy to fuse both concepts together as it never fails to create a result that easily translates my design style. In addition, I love monochrome and have always much preferred solid colors over patterns, be it in terms of fashion or designing.
