BUILT ON A STRONG FOUNDATION
RELIABLE BASE VEHICLES
MOTORHOME ROOF STRUCTURE
The motorhome’s GRP-reinforced roof offers outstanding resistance to hail damage. A key feature is the roof scoop, which is fully insulated with PU foam to prevent a build-up of condensation. At the same time, the PU insulation enhances the structural stability of the roof.
VAN BODY CONSTRUCTION
At Hobby, we place great importance on build quality. That’s why our vans feature intelligent systems for ventilation and heat management, along with carefully selected insulating materials. The seamless B6 high-performance insulation – 5 to 10 mm thick throughout the body –ensures stable interior temperatures, a comfortable onboard climate and effectively prevents thermal bridging.
MOTORHOME WALL AND FLOOR CONSTRUCTION
The side walls feature a sandwich construction made from EPS foam, wood and aluminium sheet, making them not only structurally stable but also moisture-resistant and thermally insulated. The entire underfloor, including the lowered rear section, is made from XPS heat insulation with a GRP coating. The insulated wheel arches also help to prevent thermal bridging.
VAN ROOF AND FLOOR CONSTRUCTION
All Hobby vans feature XPS heat insulation in both the roof and floor. The underside of the floor is coated with GRP, making it especially resistant to rot. Natural winter vents between the insulated body and the interior furniture prevent condensation from forming inside the vehicle.
