SOLIDARITY FESTIVAL OF ZAMAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Solidarity festival is a week-long festival in our school, dedicated to the unfortunate and needy people living in various institutions in Phnom Penh. Every year we as Zaman Family comprising of Director, Mr.Ali Kokten ,Principal Mr.Osman K a r a c a , V i c e Principals,teachers, staffs and students collect money to help the less fortunate people. This year's Solidarity Festival was celebrated with a big success. Firstly, on 31st of December, 2006, the Director, Principal accompanied by members of Student Council with teachers and some guests from Turkey visited Mine Victims Centre with a truck full of rice, meat, noodles, milk, sweets and chocolates etc. It was a surprise to see the residents, especially children which have doubled in number since our last visit, waiting for us ZAMAN NEWSPAPER Zaman, Publisher Grace Karaca, Editor-in Chief Gurkan Cil, Editor at Large

Next, we visited the hospital inside the camp where two patients were lying in bed with serious illnesses. We, then proceed around the camp listening about life in the camp from the Officer in Charge.
