About:

Design Overview:

PediaFest is yearly gig put on by the student crew of multimedia education at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. It's got everything—seminars, games, exhibitions, and these cool edu-art competitions—. Pediafest 2020 was all about "Nawasena," meaning a super bright future, held right in the middle of the COVID-19 chaos. Nawasena's all about telling young folks to live sustainably, y'know, like that famous Sundanese saying "Ngmumule sukma ngora".

The traditional Indonesian mask mark is all about showing the art and feelings of the younger crowd. The wing accents up on the forehead stand for freedom, that six-sided shape represents determination, and the computer circuit patterns? They're all about digital tech. Oh, and that orange color gradation? That's the vibe of youthful energy spread all around.

Limaawaktu Moslem Wear

Design by Zaki M. Ihsan

Tags: Identity Design, Branding

About:

Design Overview:

Limaawaku is this cool Muslim clothing brand that's all about men's robe-style clothing and lots of other stylish accessories. They've got this whole Arab design thing going on, but they've tweaked the materials and stitching to make it perfect for the Indonesian climate and body types. But it's not just about the robes; they've got a bunch of accessories to spice up your look too. They love blending traditional Arab styles with what people in Indonesia really like.

Limaawaktu is all about using the five daily prayer times in a Muslim's life as a sort of shield for navigating the world. It's like how your clothes can protect you, but on a deeper level. They take the five prayer times, which are like the foundation of Islam, and blend it with this idea of protection. The cool part is how they incorporate these curved lines into the fabric and design, giving it that dynamic Arabic vibe.
