50 lb monofilament line 60 feet nonshiny white tulle 1 pair of studio headphones 1/8 inch audio cable computer (with built-in camera) projector MaxPatch (available from composer)
premiere: ArtsX at Bowling Green State University on December 6th 2013
Instructions 1. Suspend headphones from ceiling. 2. Run audio cable from headphones along the floor to the computer. (tape cable) 3. Attach monofilament line to corners of tulle and suspend from the ceiling as:

4. Tulle should extend fully to the ground and form a sort of “capsule� around the headphones big enough for someone to enter and stand. 5. From the back of the space (bottom of diagram) a projector should be mounted in such a way that it casts onto entire structure and projects through the material. 6. Computer is set up away from structure near the entrance to the room.
Technical Set-up 1. Projector should be set up as a seperate monitor and should not be mirrored. 2. When opening the Max Patch drag the small sub-window to the projector display 3. Enter presentation mode and press space bar. The piece will begin and loop until the patch is closed.
