Spring Bringing Beauty It’s Spring Time and it's warming up quickly. Spring is when flowers start blooming; birds start singing; and butterflies are diffidently flying everywhere in search of their favorite flowers. Butterflies are one of the few purely decorative insects you can attract and their variety of colors is astonishing, thus making them a welcome addition to any yard or garden. The primary means of enticing butterflies into the garden depends on your planting, because nectar is primarily what will invite them. To ensure the most hospitable environment, you'll want a variety of plants that will provide nectar year round, so it is advised you have a balance of spring bloomers such as Daisies, Dandelions, Pansies and Primroses and to compensate their loss in late summer and autumn, a healthy dose of Marigolds, Knapweed and Lavender. Go also to your neighborhood nursery to get suggestions of flowers that will attract butterflies and humming birds. Here's another w a y t o possibly get some butterflies in your yard. You c a n purchase most of
those plants already in large pots and just set them in a peaceful location. Butterflies require peace to flourish. Spring is a time when people start their spring cleaning, many are in full spring-cleaning mode. One of the biggest parts of spring cleaning is getting rid of clutter that you don't need. Take advantage of the natural urge that comes each spring to get rid of items that are weighing you down and begin fresh with a more streamlined lifestyle. Clearing out garages, getting rite of things that have been stored in the garage for years; cleaning up the back yards getting ready for family and friends to come over and enjoy each other for the balance of the year.
See the Butterflies!
Many are cleaning out their closets packing bags of clothes to be given to charity. While we may have a tendency to hoard and hold on to items in the winter, we generally are more ready to let go of clutter when spring arrives. Now, after the cleaning is all done, now you can focus on all the fun that goes on in the spring. It a good time to go swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking, camping or just riding a bike. The days are longer so it can be 8:00 pm. And its bright and it feels like its 6:30 pm. Spring break for teens is a good time to just relax and plan some of those events you desired, but had to stay home and do homework. There is so much more to learn about spring time.
