What is happening at the Burke

Foundation Early Childhood Center

Parent Conferences

For the past two weeks we have been having our Parent Conferences. These conferences provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect with their child’s teacher and discuss their child’s academic progress, social and emotional development, as well as their strengths, challenges, and overall classroom experience. They also create space to ask questions, share insights from home, and collaborate on strategies that support each child’s continued growth, confidence, and success both in and out of the classroom.

Earth Day

Earth Day at our Child Development Center fostered a meaningful connection to the environment while inspiring lifelong habits of sustainability.

Through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences, children explored nature in ways that built responsibility, patience, and curiosity.

Outdoor discovery enhanced cognitive development, while activities like recycling, gardening, and creative reuse projects encouraged respect for the planet and empowered children to become thoughtful stewards of the world around them.
