Deitel and H. Deitel, 7th edition or later Prerequisites: CENG 103, Computer Programming I Aim: This course aims to advance the student’s understanding of C programming fundamentals. We build on the basic programming concepts which were introduced in the prerequisite course and introduce object-oriented programming. By the end of the semester, students will learn all the fundamentals of C programming and have a basic understanding of object-oriented programming with C. Course Topics & Outline (TENTATIVE) It’s assumed that the student knows all the topics that are discussed in CENG 103. Chapters 1-8 of textbook. Week # Contents 1

Class Policies: • Attendance to classes and labs are MANDATORY. If you have a conflict in your schedule, you need to contact with the instructor (for the lecture hours) or assistants (for lab hours) immediately. • Students absent during labs and quizzes will get no credit for that particular requirement. 
 • Any form of cheating is strictly forbidden. While students are encouraged to openly discuss the problems conceptually, the work must be the student’s own. Exchanging lab solutions is cheating and will be reported to the university. At minimum, you will fail the course.
