設計理念

三十年老房子有三十坪大，使用成員有夫妻和一對兒女，兩個小孩都就讀國中，男主人是廚師、女主人是拼布老師。 設計上將整個空間一分為二，私人空間與公共空間。私人空間的三房，與公共空間的客廳、廚房與拼布教室。整個空間有兩個陽台，一個在入口處，另一個陽台則位於在 夫妻房。透過大落地窗，使兩空間的採光充裕。 四邊方正的空間有一切角的格局，徒然造成畸零地的浪費。設計上將其空間的缺失經由的巧思下成為空間表現上的優點。我將廚房設計在這個有切角的角落，廚房空間與 拼布教室併用，有一酒吧小高台桌合併的餐桌亦可做為拼布教室工作桌使用。這個拼布教室與廚房共用的空間設計，增加了空間使用上的多元性。一道半開放的電視牆， 巧妙區隔了客廳空間與廚房兼拼布教室這兩空間。替整個空間帶來開放開闊不壓迫的舒服輕盈感受。 客廳背牆的婉約大波浪紋珪澡土造型牆，佐以現代簡潔的線條效果，瞬間豐富了牆面表情，呈現出豐富的空間層次，同時亦注入放鬆舒適的休閒感。珪澡土有淨化空氣利 於人體健康的特質，不僅增加了空間的美感也兼具了環保。 全局黑白灰維持低調奢華的現代簡約風，大量運用黑灰白的鋼琴烤漆，在老屋新生中上演光影與反射遊戲，簡潔的線條、俐落的空間呼應了屋主現代風的渴望。大紋理黑 檀木皮和溫馨的胡桃木地板注入了大面積的暖色調平和了鋼琴烤漆反光材質，創造溫暖氛圍並且帶出空間的美好。

The 30-year-old house with a 99.17355 m2 area is owned by a couple with two kids, both of whom are going to junior high school. And hostess is a chef and the hostess is a patchwork teacher.

The design divides the entire space into two parts for privacy and commonality. Three spaces are designed for privacy, while the shared space is designed into a living room, a kitchen, a patchwork classroom. The entire space contains two balconies, one of which is set at the entrance and the other one is set in the bedroom for the couple. The bay window is decorated for exposure to adequate sunlight by day.

The space built upon orthogonality and a cutting angle at the corner create a fraction that is surely to be wasted. The faulty design can still be a great advantage if genuine ideas can be implemented. I manage to set a kitchen at the corner with e cutting angle. The space for the kitchen is shared by the patchwork classroom. The bar set for the kitchen can also be used as a work table for the patchwork classroom. The design of shared space for the patchwork classroom and the kitchen creates more uses for the space. A semi-open wall for the TV set cleverly separates the living room and the kitchen/patchwork classroom, and brings comfort and grace to the entire space.

The curves and waves on the stylish wall made of algae soil exhibit simple modernity. All of a sudden, the wall shows much more facial expressions with a sense of layers and comfort for leisure.

Algae soil is well-known for its effect of purifying the air and promoting health. The material not only enhance the aesthetics but also protects the environment.

The colors of black and grey exhibit low-key luxury and simple modernity. Heavy use of black, grey and white for the paint over the piano create ample reflections in the old house. Simple lines, and neat spaces echoes the desire of the house owners for simplicity and modernity. Spear wood skin veneer with coarse textures and the floor made of walnut wood bring in much warmth to undo the reflections from the paint over the piano to create coziness in the space.
