DESIGN BRIEF
A house is to be designed for an elite urban family in the city. The father is a working professional – an architect aged 45. The mother also works with him and both are in same profession. Their son is 15 years old while the younger daughter is 13 years old.
The parents have busy lifestyle due their demanding profession. They hardly find time on the weekdays for their kids. The grandfather is a retired commissioner of police. The grandfather lives a disciplined retired life with his exercise routine and diet. The grandmother has developed into a religious person post retirement and has a social life revolving around the same. They both are attached to their grandchildren.
The father and the daughter duo are into sports and love trekking and travelling. Outdoors is a place for them. The son is an avid reader like his mother. He is outspoken and has many friends. The mother loves to explore her culinary skills with her family in a relaxed frame of mind. This close knit family is introvert and loves to spend time with each other.

DESIGN BRIEF
The Government of Maharashtra has decided to develop a site for International Airport at Navi Mumbai.
Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is a Greenfield International Airport being built on the National Highway (NH) 4B near Panvel, approximately 35km from Mumbai’s existing Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
This airport will be well connected to JNPT Port road, Mumbai – Pune highway making it the most favorable and convenient for everyone.
The proposal of the upcoming airport has given rise to the hospitality industry, thus studying the nearby vicinity a transient hotel is being proposed.
The design incorporates a grid of ten meters by ten meters.

In order to enhance the panoramic views of the surrounding hills from the hotel guest rooms, an L-shaped architectural design has been employed.
To establish a magnificent entrance plaza, an extruded blocks of an auditorium and café has been implemented.
In order to mitigate the Urban Heat Island phenomenon , a combination of landscaped areas and terraces have been incorporated.
The use of terraced gardens and a beautiful fountain at the drop-off plaza adds to the relaxing atmosphere.

DESIGN BRIEF
Residential spaces play an important role in the success of any town and its inhabitants. They become the foundation to which those living and visiting in the area come together and communicate. Mass Housing is the necessity to accommodate today’s urban housing need considering rapid urban growth for future.
The major emphasis with this project is on Nashik Town and its culture and community, as well as giving the town a name for itself. This will be done by designing a space that will have the elements to bring a community together by embracing the culture and the history in the area, as well as giving the town the adequate amenities it needs to be successful.
By doing this, the community will have the right ingredients to get outside and enjoy multifunctional spaces nearby, instead of traveling in their vehicles outside of the town, and living in an unsustainable way.
