Local Residents use recycling materials build pergolas to enlarge their living space
The original location was lack of depth and the sunshine was too bright, came directly from the exterior. I collected abandoned windows and door frames in the neighborhood as the materials, designed and built (with construction team) a pergola outside the ware house to reduce the bright sunshine and enlarge the depth of the shooting space.
Inspired by the Chauvet Cave I used stone to carve birds frescos around the walls in a huge villa, for a surrealism scene when two kids eventually entered this abandoned place.
