The Details
The inner and outer cylinders are in the form of truss cylinders, which have good lateral and torsional rigidity. The steel-wood composite board connects the double cylinders and realizes the function of vertical passage.

The outer cylinder adopts a GLT wooden pole with a section size of 400*200mm, and the inner cylinder adopts a GLT wooden pole with a section size of 200*200mm. All joints are assembled bolt joints, which can be adapted to different rod orientations by adjusting the angle of the lugs. The floor slab adopts CLT-steel coupling beam platform plate. Similarly, the stair section also adopts CLT-steel coupling beam stair section slab.

It may be a dry and desolate world now, but Mars was once an active planet covered in oceans with a thick atmosphere. If we're to colonise the Red Planet in the future we may have to recreate these conditions. Luckily, Primus provides a plan.
In 2300, humans have successfully solved the problem of Mars' magnetic field and began a largescale colonization of Mars. In this context, Primus plans to build a series of giant industrial buildings, which will use the latest technology to gradually transform the surface environment of Mars into a suitable environment for human survival which might take centuries.
The main structure of Primus is supported by 6 huge columns, the edge of which is located on a circle with a diameter of 365m. Primus plans to build living quarters in the space below the base of the column. Since the height of the space below the column foot is only 60m, 37m will be excavated underground to form a giant circular pit. The residential area adopts a centripetal layout, with a large service facility in the center of the circle, and other ordinary living cabins and equipment will be arranged on the circular platform with different diameters. The height difference between each circular platform is about 10m, and they are connected by a circular viaduct. These habitats will provide initial shelter for Mars explorers and lay the foundation for subsequent exploration.
