Farm Bureau Foundation Announces 40 Scholarships

orty undergraduate students from California who are entering or attending colleges or universities have received Rustici Livestock and Rangeland Scholarships. California Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation is funding a total $145,000 for the scholarship winners. The Rustici program benefits two-year college or four-year university students intending to pursue careers focused on rangeland management, with an emphasis on cattle and sheep ranching employing sound rangeland practices.

Thirty-five students received $5,000 scholarship awards. Those recipients and their counties are: Iyali Aguirre of Lake; Delaney Amarel of Sutter; Kiley Andersen of Sonoma; Kassidy Bianchi of Sonoma; Abigayle Brown of San Luis Obispo; Cole Carmesin of Humboldt; Garrett Christiansen of Humboldt; William Claflin of San Bernardino; Katie Coe of Butte; Shelby Criner of Modoc; Linzee DeGraff of Sutter; Abby Donovan of Placer; Caleb Eberhardt of Yuba; Mavrick Farnam of Modoc; Austin Flood of Shasta; Reese Gonsalves of Stanislaus; Linzie Goodsell of Sacramento;

Josephine Hernandez of Placer; Tanner Hoekstra of Stanislaus; Kaidyn Holland of Plumas; Kylie Konyn of San Diego; Christy-Sue Lopez of Kern; Billy Marchy of Stanislaus; Philip Minnick of Imperial; Zane Naphan of Butte; Isabel Patterson of Stanislaus; Madeline Pitto of Sacramento; Derrick Pomi of Sonoma; Logan Pomi of Sonoma; Paden Prior of Humboldt; Brielle Prock of Stanislaus; Gracen Santinelli of Amador; Malana Unsell of Kern; Kyler Vernon of San Luis Obispo; and Hannah Wayne of Yolo.

Five students received $2,500 scholarship awards. Those recipients and their counties are: Anthony Agueda of Stanislaus; Macey Fowler of Placer; Laurel Machoian of Fresno; Kristin Roberti of Plumas-Sierra;and Zakary Schall of Lassen.
