Sport - Hockey - Yankalilla

Yankalilla Hockey Club

Our club was successful in obtaining a grant from Yankalilla Council of $1200 which will enable us to purchase fencing material to erect between the toilets and the roadway. This will create a safety barrier to separate people and vehicles on home game days. We would also like to thank the following for their donations to help develop our club: Combined Churches Op Shop - money towards making our tech benches. Yankalilla Lions Club - money towards developing our BBQ facilities.

Quiz Night

Players Wanted

Our Juniors are faring well though we could do with more players in all Divisions – Under 10, 14 & 17 teams. So if you are keen, please reach out, or come along to training on Wednesdays from 4.30pm at the Hockey Club (second oval at the Memorial Park). Hayley Gibbons has control of Under 10 with both her girls playing in this division. The coach for Under 14 is Shannon Baldock, who lives in Mt Compass and has two boys playing all divisions. Rob Tuck coaches the Under 17 on Saturdays as he lives at Seacliff and has his son playing in the team. If interested in playing juniors or seniors please contact:
