THE SCIENCE OF SUPERHEROES
On Saturday 1st October, we were invited to take part in Unmasked: The Science of Superheroes event at The Studio Widnes. Hosted by comedian Thaddeus Bent - the event was a collaboration between. Halton Libraries, The Studio, The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and University of Central Lancashire ( UCLAN).
Professors from the university wrote a graphic novel in which the event was named after, investigating the science behind superheroes, breaking down their abilities and characteristics.

The day included talks from the professors in the book, 3D printing, Pepper the Robot, digital mask making and other various hands on activities.
We asked some of the guests, what super power they would most like to possess. Here are the results:
